THIS IS US...
Our family has lived in Boerne for over 20 years, and for the last seven, we’ve lived directly behind Sunny Oaks Pet Resort. Watching the dogs play every day brought our family immense joy, and that joy sparked a dream of one day owning the resort.
In December 2023, our dream became a reality! We’ve teamed up with an amazing crew of pet professionals to take the already-pawsome resort to the next level.
ABOUT THE OWNERS
Most recently a math teacher at Van Raub Elementary School (go Roadrunners!), Tally is now the proud co-owner of Sunny Oaks Pet Resort with her husband Travis. While she’s going to miss teaching, she’s also excited to focus solely on the four-legged guests at the resort.

Travis didn’t grow up in Boerne, but he’s a smart guy and got here as fast as he could! He works remotely for a medical device company, providing support at the resort most afternoons and on weekends.

Travis and Tally have two children, Madeline and Ryan, who are both CHS graduates and proud Texas Tech Red Raiders. Maddie is pursuing a career as an educator while Ryan is majoring in pre-veterinary studies.
